Entering the Holy Dark

December 21st marks the cyclical longest night, winter solstice. The earth's plants and creatures, in the northern hemisphere, are actively going underground, into deeper soil, decomposing, resting, sleeping, gestating. Wild Church is an invitation into a different way of paying attention, into the temple of our sacred body and the sacred body of the earth, and from our soul and the collective soul. The cycle of the year invites us into her interconnected rhythms, for we too are part of the earth. What is drawing you inward, downward, into a deeper sight, with dark feet and wings?
