About the Event

We’ve taken tentative steps into this new year, only to find there is more of the same as the year we just left: Heightened upheaval, chaos, unmooring. We may feel emotions running the spectrum - from fear to anger and everywhere in-between. These may be highly anxious and uncomfortable times. Whether it feels like a sense of a doom or collapse or perhaps rising hopefulness, we may feel somewhat outside of ourselves, following the news, hiding from the news, being led by reaction to headlines and stress.

The ancient Greek philosopher, Heraclitus, taught that “the one constant in life is change.” In all of life, in nature, in the cosmos, in us. Sometimes subtle imperceptible changes, and at other times throughout evolution, historic changes. Paradigm shifting changes. We are in such a time as this. In this gathering we’ll touch on learning to navigate during these times by aligning with nature, the great innovator, and with our inner knowing. We can drop into trust, that within the chaos itself is encoded the emergent innovation that we may not see yet.

You can expect the following at our online gathering:

Grounding and centering through a guided meditation

Acknowledgment of land and season

A short teaching

30 minute outdoor contemplation (solo)

Connecting with others

A circle process for sharing (participation level determined by you)
