About the Event

We gather to celebrate the spring equinox and all of the energy and beauty of an emerging spring. How fun that we also gather on St Patrick's Day! Come celebrate the greening of the earth, new growth happening around and within you. Our time together will include prayers and poetry, a positioning into the energies of equinox, a contemplative wandering, a reflection on "St" Patrick, and a time of sharing. Afterwards, you're invited to stay and hang out and eat some of Sharon's Guiness stew that will be simmering on the fire! See below for a list of what to bring.

Our gathering will be facilitated by spiritual director and Master Naturalist Sharon Landis at her beautiful farm, Starry Meadow, located about 15 minutes from Harrisonburg. Please RSVP if you plan to come and you'll receive the address. We really need to know how many of you are coming. I'm so grateful for Sharon's gifts and look forward to sharing this time with you!

To Bring:

  • Folding chair/camp chair to sit on
  • Journal for notes if you'd like
  • Your water bottle or reuseable cup
  • Some Guinness or other ale or beverage if you wish!
  • An instrument if you'd like (there will be no facilitation of music-playing, just an open space to play if you'd like)
  • A donation to contribute to the food and for Sharon's time. Suggested donation $5-10
