About the Event
We come together to attune ourselves with the balancing nature of the spring equinox, with the Light of the Earth, with one another, with our soul. It is the time when darkness and light come together in perfect balance. And we welcome the returning of light from the womb of darkness. Evidence of this shift surrounds us, and we position ourselves to notice it within oursevles as well. A balancing point in the year - masculine and feminine energies, human and divine, stillness and movement, chaos and order.
Join us as we open ourselves in relationship with one another, with the trees, plants, waters, stones and creatures of Hone Quarry as sacred expressions of God, universal intelligence, the divine imprint within all things.
Please bring a folding chair or blanket to sit on, your reusable water bottle, a journal/pen (if that's your thing) and yourself, just as you are. There will be times of embodied prayer, silence, words, wandering, and sharing and hopefully a fire! All are welcome.
Your GPS will bring you to Hone Quarry. However, please note that there is no WiFi or cell service at Hone Quarry, so set it before you leave home. As always, we never know if we will be able to secure a campsite, especially as warmer weather comes. So please come early to find us and get settled. If we can't get a campsite, we will be in the open meadow at the day-use picnic area. If you don't see our sign in the big parking area at the day-use area, keep driving to the campground until you find us!
We look forward to connecting together. For questions text/call 540-405-9201.
