About the Event

Join with others on this journey of re-connection with the natural world and spiritual consciousness as a unified and embodied experience. As we walk the Celtic wheel of the year, we approach the threshold of the time in-between. Between equinox and winter solstice. Between what has been and what is yet emerging. Between light and outward growth into shadow and deepening down.

In the Celtic tradition, we honor the season of Samhain, which is expressed in different cultures as well like the Day of the Dead rooted in Mexican traditions and celebrated in other cultures and Catholicism. And with All Saints Day in the Protestant tradition. We gather to reverence ancestors, whether those of our blood lineages or spiritual lineages. If we trace our ancestry back enough, we enter the wisdom of those who were intimately connected with the earth. Our lifetime may have been harmfully impacted by family member…

With respect, acknowledgment, and love, we gather on the land of the Eastern Siouan-speaking ancestors of the Monacan Nation and Manahoac peoples, and of the Iroquoian speakers and of the Central Algonquian language speakers.
