Wild Church Gathering - Earthing
Time & Location
About the Event
We belong to the earth. We are part of nature. And yet modern humans have become so disconnected from our grounding source. We may spend time in nature - hiking, appreciating her beauty, gardening, and these are all beautiful ways to renew ourselves and our love for the earth. At this gathering, as spiritual practice, and as an invitation back to our original belonging with the earth and with Creator/Divine Source, we will spend time more intentionally connecting in relationship with the ground with our bare feet and our bare hearts, as our ancestors did.
When our feet touch the ground, we receive a charge of energy from the earth, and our body synchronizes with the natural frequencies of the earth. If you don't feel comfortable removing your shoes, it's okay, just listen to what your body tells you. Join us for a time of earthing ourselves in a practice of embodied spirituality that invites us back home to our soul and our original belonging.
Please bring a folding chair or blanket to sit on, your water bottle, bug spray if you're sensitive to all the small gnats and such buzzing around right now, a journal and pen if you're so inclined. Please arrive early (3:40) so we can transport people as needed into the camp site from the parking area in front of day-use parking. Someone will be standing by our sign to either drive you to the site or direct you to our spot in the meadow.
For questions prior to our gathering day, please text or call 540-405-9201 or email email@example.com. We look forward to connecting together!
