Winter Solstice Fire Circle

We’ll gather around a bonfire for warmth, community, poetry readings, a fireside ritual, wit hot cocoa, hot tea from our native Spicebush, or coffee. We will be present to the darkness and the coming light, and look inward and outward, as we welcome the season of winter. Winter invites us to fallownness, rest, and introspection. Bring an outdoor chair and wear warm clothes. A lantern or flashlight might be helpful. Honoring the quiet land and winter’s rest, we will gather around the bonfire in silence. After the short ritual, we can stay for community time and enjoy hot beverages and popcorn.
